What is wellness?

"I consider wellness to include both physical and mental health, where we can thrive in our running pursuits while sustaining a balanced lifestyle including physical activity, recovery, and a positive mindset. As a runner and running coach my focus is optimizing performance, promoting longevity in the sport, and enhancing the overall well-being of myself and my athletes."

About Jess

Jess is our Marketing Director, currently hold 2 Associates in Applied Science Degrees, Computer Information Technology and Web Technologies. She has been working in the gym and wellness industry for 10 years now as a facility manager. Naturally, Jess picked up marketing along the way. Today, she is currently studying at SNHU to earn a BS in Marketing while practicing her craft here at Crystal Coast Wellness. She is also a Running Coach certified by the Road Runner Club of America, Race Director and Yoga Instructor Certified 200 Hour. Jess is passionate about living an active and healthy lifestyle outdoors. Not your average runner, she particularly enjoys trail and ultrarunning which are races longer than marathons often fundraising for St. Jude's as she trains. Most recently, she has taken up paddle boarding (SUP) exploring the oyster beds and marshes of her home on the Crystal Coast.
