Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab 2nd Annual Cancer Survivor 5k Fun Run & 1mi Walk & Bougie Brunch

Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center presents the 2nd annual 5k fun run and 1 mile walk in historic Downtown Beaufort on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 8am. This annual event is a rewarding and fun morning race for survivors, their family, and local runners. All race proceeds benefit Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center, a local non-profit that provides an oncology specific exercise training program to empower local survivors’ bodies and minds to fight back against the devastating effects of cancer and treatment.

This race is open to anyone, regardless of age or experience, and we are looking forward to a large turn out! The race will be followed by an optional brunch (tickets sold separately). Don't wait to register! ***Only the first 150 registrants are guaranteed a commemorative race shirt on race day.***

COURSE DESCRIPTION  The race course runs out and back down Front Street. This race is a “fun run” and timing will not be provided.

PACKET PICK UP Extended Packet Pick Up - Monday, October 9 through Friday, October 13 at Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center located at 4913 Bridges Street Ext. Building B, Suite 101 in Morehead City during regular business hours.

Monday - Thursday 8:00am until 4:00pm Friday 8:00am until 2:00pm

There will also be Race Day Packet Pick Up at the John Newton Memorial Park 500 Front Street from 7:00am until 7:45am.

EVENT PARKING Participants of the race and brunch attendees can park in the downtown parking area. According to the town of Beaufort's website, there is no charge for parking after the end of the season (September 5).  There is a parking lot located across the street from the Historic Grounds as well as curbside spaces all around downtown. Please arrive early and be aware of the road closure for the race course from 7:30am until 10:00am.
